Jim Ullmann is serving his first term as Northwest Mountain Regional Vice President after working the last 20 years as an air traffic controller within the NWM Region.

Arriving to Seattle Center (ZSE) from the Oklahoma City academy in July 1989, Ullmann joined NATCA the first day he was eligible. He became active in union activities shortly after becoming FPL at the facility in 1991, and has held both elected and appointed NATCA positions within his facility, regionally and nationally ever since.

In addition to serving as ZSE Vice President for seven years and Facility Representative for three, Ullmann has held the position of Area Rep and Regional NATCA LMR Coordinator. He served as NATCA CISM Team Lead and EAP Committee Member, both of which he held until the start of his RVP term in 2009.

Ullmann has been married to his wife, Diane, since 1986. They have two sons, Austin and Casey.

Ullmann is based in Seattle, Wash.
