Regional Counsel's OfficeNATCA represents 65 employees in eight different regions in the FAA Legal Division. The members in this bargaining unit are attorneys, paraprofessionals and other administrative staff assigned to the Legal Division. NATCA won the election with 52 percent of the vote, and the Federal Labor Relations Authority issued certification on January 4, 2001. Within NATCA, this division is further combined with the engineers and architects and create essentially one "region" of about 2,508 total bargaining unit members represented by Region X Vice President Mike MacDonald on the National Executive Board. What Do These Members Do These NATCA members provide all legal services within the regional offices. They have a hands-on understanding and experience of legal issues and their implications to both bargaining unit members and the agency.
