Larry Lescanec Larry Lescanec is serving his first term as Alaskan Regional Vice President for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association. Serving in multiple NATCA positions, he has worked tiredlessly on behalf of the union through his dedicated arbitration efforts, achieving a level of competence in all aspects of labor relations. Lescanec works at Anchorage TRACON (A11), where he has previously served as NATCA Facility Representative. During his 21 years as an air traffic controller, Lescanec also served as National OSHA Committee Regional Rep, as well as a member of the Alaskan Region Labor Relations Committee for the eight years prior to his election as RVP. Lescanec is a 25-year resident of Alaska, having arrived to the state fresh out of college in 1983. He and his wife, Wendy, have lived in Eagle River for the last 15 years and have two sons. Lescanec is based in Anchorage, Alaska.
