European Air Traffic Control PrivatizationPrivatization has failed miserably in other countries. According to a recent report by Eurocontrol, the air traffic control organization for all of Europe, the U.S. air traffic control system is 74 percent more efficient and 79 percent more productive than the largely privatized European system. The United States runs the most efficient system in the world and, rather than increase efficiency, privatizing the system will make it more like Europe's and consequently less efficient. |
