1.  Caribbean travel tips.  A large number of flights departing for the Caribbean leave at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.  To avoid this rush, schedule your departure to the Caribbean for another day.

2. Avoid the afternoon Northeast rush.  Try to avoid traveling to the Northeast in the afternoon during the summer. 

3.  Remember the noise reduction rule.  Every night from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Charlotte is under noise restriction rules.  In order to reduce noise, only one runway is in use, which contributes to delays.  Try to avoid arriving during this time.
