1.  Leave early in the day.  Backups are progressive.  There is a greater chance of experiencing a longer delay later in the day.

2.  Arrive at the airport early enough to find alternate parking.  The parking garage at the McNamara terminal tends to fill up during peak travel periods, which means you might have to park in a satellite lot.  Make sure to leave early enough to allow the extra commute time from the satellite lot to the terminal.

3.  Security tips - Go through security upstairs.  There are many more security checkpoints on the ticketing level than on the parking level.  Even if the line looks shorter on the parking level, it may be quicker to go upstairs.
