1.  Avoid the busy travel times. LaGuardia sees its most departures between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and arrivals between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

2.  Travel on the weekends.  From 11:00 a.m. Saturday until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, LGA sees the least amount of air traffic volume.  Monday mornings and all day on Fridays are normally very congested.
