Indianapolis Area Members Gather for Reloaded Event

NATCA members from Indianapolis Center (ZID) and Indianapolis Tower (IND) joined together on Tuesday, November 2 for their local Reloaded Meeting at BW3’s in Plainfield, Ind.

Approximately 50 members of ZID and IND attended the event, which was organized by ZID Reloaded Rep Bob Obma. Although he only took over this position a few weeks ago, Obma did a fantastic job organizing and coordinating every aspect of the meeting.

The event included videos, NATCA give-a-ways, an interactive Q&A session, and a presentation by National Reloaded Committee member Kelly Richardson (NATCA National Office). While the primary goal of the meeting was to discuss Reloaded and the future of the program, the purpose seemed to expand throughout the course of the evening.

“It was a great meeting, as it brought together different generations of controllers," said Richardson. "We were able to discuss all of the different issues we, as a union, are facing, as well as how to get involved in NATCA."

Special thanks to Tom Thompson (ZID FacRep), Bob Obma (ZID), and all of the local reps who helped in putting together this successful event!
