NATCA Launches "I Am a Professional" Video
Thursday, May 12, 2011

This week, NATCA uploaded a new union video to its public YouTube page, and watched as it quickly spread to media outlets across the country.

The video, which focuses on controller pride and professionalism, uses the positive messages of various experienced ATC professionals from across the country. As part of a joint NATCA/FAA initiative, the idea came together with assistance from ZLA FacRep Garth Koleszar who was working on a Professional Standards training class/presentation.

ZFW member and video expert Evan Munro joined the efforts to produce footage that could also be used in the training video, and NATCA went to work asking our very own controllers what this profession means to them.
