NATCA ASI Committee Meets for Training
Thursday, September 29, 2011
The Safety and Technology Department on Wednesday hosted an Air Safety Investigator (ASI) Training Meeting at the National Office and members of the NATCA ASI Committee gathered for a day of robust discussion, education and briefings.
The day included special presentations from Jim Morin of the FAA Accident Litigation Support office and Dan Bartlett from the NTSB (pictured below speaking with the committee members).
Important information about NATCA ASI can be found on its Web site at: http://asi.natca.org/
If there is an accident or incident at your facility, the most important thing to do is follow the accident checklist, which can be found here: http://asi.natca.org/accident_checklist.htm
For fac reps, a key resource to have is a listing of the ASI Committee members that cover your region or your particular type of facility. You can find that listing here: http://asi.natca.org/ASI%20Members.htm
A listing of each committee member's email address, along with a link to the committee charter, can be found here: http://www.natcamembers.org/committees.aspx?zone=Committees&pID=463#p463
