NATCA Welcomes Newest Local
Thursday, November 03, 2011

NATCA Leadership recently visited central Texas to welcome NATCA’s newest Local, San Marcos Federal Contract Tower (HYI FCT).  HYI FCT is also another 100 percent FCT NATCA Facility.

“It was truly amazing to see such a great turnout of NATCA brothers and sisters from all over Central Texas," said Organizing Committee Chairman John Bratcher.  "It is with these types of events and the continued efforts to organize further locals within NATCA that we will ensure the future of our union and our profession.”

Bratcher and NATCA Executive Vice President Trish Gilbert joined several facilities from all around Central Texas in welcoming HYI to the NATCA Family at a Meet-and-Greet where the new local were presented its Charter and 100 percent plaque.

During their time in Central Texas, our NATCA leaders also visited several other NATCA FAA and FCT facilities, including Georgetown FCT (GTU), Austin Tower/TRACON (AUS), New Braunfels FCT (BAZ) and San Antonio Tower/TRACON (SAT).
