Southern California TRACON Member Jim Thompson has been raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Man of the Year fundraiser for eight weeks, and as it comes to end next Thursday, he'd like your help for this great cause that can change so many lives.

"I've been humbled by how generous and amazing my NATCA brothers and sisters have been," said Thompson. "These past eight weeks have changed my life forever."

Recently, Thompson had the opportunity to cast the first MLB All Star ballot of the season on the field at Dodger Stadium. And being a huge baseball fan, this was a memorable moment for him.

"It was a dream come true," said Thompson. "I decided to wear my NATCA polo t-shirt to show my appreciation to all my brothers and sisters for all their support."

His last fundraising event is Monday, May 7, at 2 p.m. as he hosts a NATCA/LLS Golf Tournament at the Double Tree Golf Course in San Diego. There are still 12 spots available. The $50 entry fee includes golf cart and green fee. If you are interested in participating, please contact Jim Thompson at jtkadena@yahoo.com.

The competition ends May 10 and donations will be accepted until noon that day. Help your brother win this philanthropic contest and click here to make a donation.
