Please Participate in Employee Viewpoint Survey if Chosen
Friday, June 01, 2012
As we reported to you last week, NATCA supports participation in the 2012 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (EVS). The results are used to create the listing of the best federal agencies to work for and for DOT strategic planning.
NEW THIS WEEK: a videotaped message from Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood, encouraging your participation if you are chosen to participate. Please click here to view that message:
The Office of Personnel Management has randomly selected 3,400 NATCA bargaining unit employees to be invited to this year’s survey. They will protect the confidentiality of responses and produce the final reports for the DOT. If you have received a paper survey, please return it via traditional mail by June 20th in order to allow time for tabulation. Please check your FAA email address to see if you've received an email invitation to take the survey online. The electronic survey should be completed by June 25th.
The FAA is very interested in getting our members’ survey responses. For more than two years, NATCA has clearly proven that the Agency’s best outcomes only happen when we are involved. Voluntarily completing the EVS is just another way for our members to keep our concerns at the forefront.
