Still Time to Participate in Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey
There is still time to participate in this year’s Federal Employee
Viewpoint Survey (EVS). NATCA supports participation. The Office of
Personnel Management has randomly selected 3,400 NATCA bargaining unit
employees to be invited to this year’s survey. If you are one of them,
please take the time to complete the survey. The results are used to
create the listing of the best federal agencies to work for, and for DOT
OPM will protect the confidentiality of responses and produce the final
reports for the DOT. If you have received an email invitation (check your FAA email account), you have until

We’d like to save on printing and postage costs, and continue to be as
environmentally responsible as we can. That’s why we’re offering members
a way to opt out of receiving the printed version of NATCA’s quarterly
newsletter, the Air Traffic Controller.
There are two ways to opt out:
1. Go to the NATCA Members Portal at https://portal.natca.org/, log in, and simply UNCHECK the box where it indicates, “receive newsletter.”
2. Call the National Office at 800-266-0895 or 202-628-5451 and ask to
speak with a Support Staff Specialist, who can update your listing in
the membership database.
Starting with the next issue of the quarterly newsletter (next month),
we will email a PDF version to all members with an email address on file
with us, to provide another way to enjoy the newsletter.

ago," Miami Center Facility Representative Steve Wallace said. "Only in
the last four years has it come back to life and started drawing anglers
from as far away as Atlanta and Pensacola. This year we're expecting 10
boats and about 60 people for the weigh-in. I'm sure many of the other
anglers feel like I do and keep coming back for the camaraderie and
Added Wallace: "Some of the fishing tales are fairly exotic and you

you never know where the next laugh is going to come from."
