ZLA Member Needs Your Help With Leave Donations
Thursday, August 30, 2012

Brian Wnetrzak of Los Angeles Center has been a NATCA member since he was hired five years ago. He is going through a very difficult family situation and needs the help of his NATCA family with leave donations.

Brian is in the Voluntary Leave Transfer Program (VLTP) to care for his wife, who was diagnosed by doctors with Meniere’s Disease, and five children. His wife’s condition started off with a bad ear infection but turned into extreme vertigo that is indefinite.

“This has been the hardest thing I have had to deal with,” said Brian, who had to take approximately three months off from work.

Brian is 201 hours in the hole with sick leave, 89 more with annual leave. The loss of pay for the LWOP hours taken has been especially difficult and Brian is trying to find ways to get back both the leave and the money that was lost.

Brian and more than a dozen other members are listed on our members website at this link HERE. We ask that you please consider making a donation to assist them and we thank you for any help you can provide.

If you know a member that is also in the VLTP and needs to be added to our database, please email Director of Communications Doug Church (dchurch@natcadc.org).
