Media Advisory - (2/23/2009)

WHAT: New York Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) Air Traffic Controller Patrick Harten testifying at the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure's Aviation Subcommittee hearing on US Airways Flight 1549, which landed on New York's Hudson River on Jan. 15. This will be the first public appearance for Harten, a 10-year veteran controller. He will join the crew of Flight 1549 on the first panel of witnesses.

WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009; 10 a.m. EST.

WHERE: 2167 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.

NOTE: There will be no media availability for Harten either before or after the hearing.
