WASHINGTON -- As controllers and safety-related professionals who oversee the safest but also most congested skies in the world, NATCA applauds President Obama for introducing the American Jobs Act.

This important legislation will help put millions of Americans back to work rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure, fixing roads and bridges, and reducing traffic on the ground while helping to modernize the separation of aircraft and surveillance of our skies.

Said NATCA President Paul Rinaldi: “We continue to work collaboratively with the FAA to modernize the country’s transportation system and strengthen our global competitiveness. We urge Congress to pass this bill to help the U.S. retain the mantle of the safest and most efficient air traffic control system in the world.”
