It is with a heavy heart we share the sad news of the unexpected passing of Ivy Gernhard, wife of recent FAA hire and ZJX NATCA member David Gernhard, and sister of recent FAA hire and ZHU NATCA member Sean Cannon. Ivy was visiting her family in South Carolina last weekend when she suffered an apparent pulmonary embolism (blood clot to the lungs).
Ivy is survived by her husband David and six-month old twins.
