RETURN TO WORKPLACE TOOLKIT BRIEFING
On July 1, 2020, the Agency briefed NATCA on its plans to implement a Return to Workplace Toolkit, which serves to outline high-level activities that should be taken to prepare the facility and workforce to return to the workplace as bargaining unit employees (“BUEs”) return to their physical workplaces. The Toolkit incorporates recommendations that were collaboratively developed by the National OSHA Committee, which seek to establish social-distancing protocols and procedures to ensure a healthy work environment for returning BUEs. NATCA responded by requesting a full briefing to obtain an explanation of the Return to Workplace Toolkit and to ensure that it did not adversely impact BUEs.
NATCA has submitted proposals on this issue and is engaged in negotiations with the Agency.
