COVID-19 WJHTC LABORATORY ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
On October 22, 2020, the Agency briefed NATCA regarding its management guidance for laboratory access at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) during the Agency’s COVID-19 Phases 1, 2, and 3. During the phased reopening, the Agency intends to reduce the number of employees who can access certain identified labs at the WJHTC. It will do so by creating a new COVID-19 PIV master access list in its Pegasys System, which controls physical access into the labs, limited only to those employees who actually need to access the labs to perform their work. This new COVID-19 PIV master access list will replace the existing access group(s) during Phases 1, 2, and 3. Once the WJHTC returns to normal operations, the original laboratory access group(s) will be reactivated.
