DYNAMIC REGULATORY SYSTEM (DRS) BRIEFING
On December 23, 2020, the Agency briefed NATCA regarding its plans to establish and to implement a Dynamic Regulatory System (DRS), which will function as a comprehensive knowledge center that combines all regulatory guidance material of the Office of Aviation Safety (AVS) and over 65 document types into a single searchable application that centralizes all aviation safety guidance material. The DRS will also include all information found in the Flight Standards Information System (FSIMS) and the Agency’s Regulatory Guidance System (RGL), which will be accessible to internal and external users.
NATCA will monitor the roll out of the Agency’s new software platform to ensure any arising issues are addressed.
