NATCA APPLAUDS SENATE CONFIRMATION OF MICHAEL HUERTA AS FAA ADMINISTRATOR

WASHINGTON – The National Air Traffic Controllers Association applauded Senate confirmation today of Michael Huerta as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration for the next five years.

“We look forward to continuing our strong working relationship with Mr. Huerta as we serve the public with the world’s safest aviation system and making positive strides toward greater efficiency,” NATCA President Paul Rinaldi said. “We thank the Senate for working to confirm Mr. Huerta. He has demonstrated strong leadership and sharp focus in collaborating with air traffic controllers and all aviation safety professionals to improve the safety of U.S. aviation.”
