Adrianna Kremer
Adrianna is a 2016 high school graduate who plans to pursue a career in meteorology. Her goal is to work for the National Weather Service or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Hurricane Center. Adrianna was an honor roll member throughout high school and was named student of the month three times. She was an Air Force Junior ROTC member, serving as Cadet Commander of her unit and earning numerous prestigious AFJROTC awards for superior leadership and academic performance, including the Air Force Association Award. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Science Honor Society, and the History Honor Society, and was a three-year participant in Women in Science and Engineering, a Stony Brook University program that encourages young women’s involvement in STEM fields. Adrianna’s father, a dedicated 25-year NATCA member, has held leadership positions within the union and participated in legislative activities in Washington, D.C.
“Through the union, my father has helped coworkers, improved the work environment and shown me how providing service to the public is important by working to improve and maintain the safest air space in the world,” Adrianna said. “As he embarks on retirement, my family has financial security knowing that he has a pension, health insurance coverage, and survivor benefits.”
