On July 18, West Palm Beach ATCT/TRACON (PBI) Legislative Rep Kerrie Sooklal, and PBI controller Daryl Harvey met with Congresswoman Lois Frankel, D-FL-22, at the facility.
Congresswoman Frankel toured PBI and witnessed the hard work that is put in by its employees 365 days a year. She was intrigued by the operation and had many questions about how the National Airspace System is run. Frankel was able to see how PBI is connected to her on a day-to-day basis as she travels weekly for Congressional duties. She said that PBI is one of her favorite airports to travel in and out of. Sooklal enjoyed answering her questions and educating her about the air traffic control profession and the important work that controllers do every day.

Toledo Express ATCT (TOL) hosted the Toledo Air Show this weekend that saw the United States Air Force Thunderbirds. TOL member Micah Maziar captured this great shot of the squadron waiting on the runway to take flight.
