Benefits Spotlight: Credit Counseling
Has this year been a strain on your daily budget and a drain on your savings? Did you go overboard on your holiday spending? Are you struggling to pay your bills and keep your budget in a color other than red? Do you just need some guidance to stay on budget? Then you should consider contacting someone at the Union Plus Credit Counseling Services, which is a benefit offered through NATCA’s affiliation with Union Privilege.
As a union member, you will receive a free counseling session, which includes a financial review, budget analysis and credit management counseling with assistance in budgeting, and advice on how to work with your creditors. You will also receive a written action plan summarizing your financial picture and providing a budget and timeline for reaching your consumer credit goals and, if appropriate, a referral to a social service organization in your area or to Union Plus legal services.

Upcoming Retirement Seminars Provided By 4 Square:
Thank you for your interest in attending a NATCA Retirement Seminar by 4Square Financial Literacy Partners. Each locale hosting a seminar will hold both a standard seminar for members with more than 15 years of service from 3 – 9 p.m. local time, and a Career Optimization and Retirement Education (CORE) Seminar for members with fewer than 15 years of service from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. local time.
To register for a seminar, log in to the NATCA Portal and click the “Events” tab, followed by “2017 Retirement Seminars.” Complete the requested information and click “Next.” When you come to the screen listing the seminars, select the one you wish to attend, hit “Next,” verify your requested seminar information and then click “Done.”
You will receive a confirmation email once your registration is complete. A second email will be sent three weeks prior to the seminar with logistical information for the seminar along with instructions on how to obtain a benefits estimate at the seminar. You may access the benefits data collection form on the confirmation page once you register.
Spouses and significant others are also invited to attend. Please ensure that you add them to the registration when asked if you will be bringing a guest.
Although you may register anytime, we ask that you register three weeks prior to the event. Walk-ins are permitted with a membership ID number. However, you will be unable to obtain a benefits estimate at the seminar.
