NATCA Executive Vice President Trish Gilbert met with Melissa Sabatine this week. Sabatine has led the Regulatory Affairs team at the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) since November 2007 and is a self-described aviation exec, fashionista, and barre belle. Sabatine singled out Gilbert as this week’s Woman in Aviation who Rocks Wednesday.

“This week’s Woman in Aviation who Rocks Wednesday is Patricia Gilbert, @natcanational EVP. Trish is an accomplished leader and valued industry expert who always has a smile no matter how crazy busy her day is. I am honored to serve with her on the Aero Club’s Board of Governors and call her my colleague.”

On Monday, April 10, Columbus, OH ATCT (CMH) members Mike Weekley and Phil Carpino staffed the NATCA table at Congressman Steve Stiver’s (Ohio-15) 7th annual job fair for Ohio’s 15th congressional district. The event was held at Ohio State’s 4-H center.

The NATCA table was one of 80 tables made available to nearly 500 job seekers. The table garnered a lot of interest and even more questions. It was a great opportunity to answer questions about our profession and interact with the general public.
