June 13, 2017 // NATCA Congratulates Dan Elwell on Appointment as FAA Deputy Administrator

WASHINGTON – National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) President Paul Rinaldi stated the following about the Administration’s appointment of Dan Elwell to serve as deputy administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration:

We congratulate Dan on his appointment. He brings a tremendous wealth of experience in aviation, first as a military and commercial pilot, then as a devoted advocate for aviation safety in government and in the private sector. His experience and ability to build strong relationships in the aviation community makes him uniquely qualified to help lead the FAA forward. We look forward to working closely with Dan as collaborative partners in ensuring the National Airspace System remains the safest in the world.
