July 21, 2017 // This Week’s Notebook: Member in Need; SkyOne Member Benefits; and Seminar Dates

Dante

One of the things I love the most about our Union is our willingness to give a helping hand. This is an opportunity to help a NATCA member on a happier note. The support I have seen from our NATCA brothers and sisters helping members in need have been amazing. Here is our chance to come together and help a NATCA member to not only change his life, but also change the life of a child needing a family.

Dante Dozier was a new hire at Lafayette (LFT) coming to us after separating from the Air Force. Upon his arrival in September 2015, he instantly inquired about joining NATCA and has been an outstanding member ever since. Dante has taken his training very seriously at LFT and has certified very quickly.

Dante and his wife, Robynne, have been married for over eight years now. Over those years they have been to countless doctor’s appointments, experienced failed fertility treatments, and received a heartbreaking diagnosis. It wasn’t until after dealing with the disappointment that they realized they were following the wrong path all along. They believe God has laid out the idea of adoption on their hearts, and they are ready to answer the call.

Please help the Dozier family answer their calling through a domestic infant adoption. Unfortunately, it is extremely expensive to adopt a child in the U.S. In fact, the cost of a domestic adoption varies widely, from under $15,000 to more than $50,000. According to surveys conducted annually by Adoptive Families, the median total cost of a domestic adoption is $30,000 to $45,000.

Any help you could give would not only be helping a fellow NATCA member but it would also be helping a child find a loving home.

You can donate to to the Dozier family by clicking here.

In Solidarity,
