South Florida Solidarity Event

NATCA members from South Florida gathered for a tailgate party on Nov. 4 before the University of Miami and Virginia Tech football game. More than 50 members from Miami Center, Miami Tower and TRACON, Fort Lauderdale, and Tamiami enjoyed a perfect afternoon of what Southern Regional Vice President Jim Marinitti said was “great people, great food, great fun, and a great victory! NATCA Pride…One Union.” NATCA members rooting for the “U” as the University of Miami is affectionately called, have had a lot to cheer about this month. Miami routed Notre Dame last weekend to move into national championship contention and continue its resurgence.
