NATCA Professional Standards Team Brings Training to New Zealand
NATCA’s Professional Standards (PS) team recently traveled to New Zealand to deliver training to the New Zealand Airline Pilots Association (NZALPA) Professional Standards Group and Ryan Murray, Vice President of Civil Air Australia.
The NZALPA has had a PS program for the past eight years. However, it has operated without management involvement. That dynamic recently changed, and NZALPA is now working toward a collaborative model similar to the FAA/NATCA program. At the same time, Australia continues to explore how a joint approach could benefit their workforce.
