NATCA Members Attend Virginia Congressional Event

NATCA Virginia State Coordinator Brian Schmelzel (Potomac TRACON, PCT) and Arianna Bocci (Washington Center, ZDC) recently attended an event featuring several Virginia lawmakers, including Representative Eugene Vindman (Va.-7) and Senator Tim Kaine. During the event, Brian and Arianna were able to speak individually with each Congressional member, highlighting the need to modernize ATC systems and equipment while also dealing with continued staffing shortages. The event was also attended by Rep. Jennifer McClellan (Va.-4), Rep. Judy Chu (Calif.-28), Rep. Dave Min (Calif.-47), Rep. Pete Aguillar (Calif.-33), and Rep. Marc Veasey (Texas-33).
