NATCA Members Participate in Drug & Alcohol Training Course

Last month, NATCA held a Drug and Alcohol Training course in Baltimore. This course brought together members from across the country, educating and empowering them to serve our Union membership.

During the class, instructors Martin Ramirez (Los Angeles Center, ZLA) and James Squire (ZLA) educated participants about the proper procedures for a drug test and the rights afforded to all bargaining unit employees during such testing. Since finishing the course, attendees have the ability to be an effective representative and witness during testing processes at their facilities.

Congratulations to all who completed this course:

Kenneth Bazman (Detroit TRACON, D21)
Molly Hurst (DeKalb-Peachtree ATCT, PDK)
Christopher Mclaren (Denver ATCT, DEN)
Ricardo Martinez (Miami ATCT, MIA)
Kendra Mock (DeKalb-Peachtree ATCT, PDK)
Gilbert Orsini (NATCA National Office)
Dylan Oliver (Pontiac ATCT, PTK)
Martin Ramirez (Los Angeles Center, ZLA)
Lakecia Shuron (Redding TRACAB, RDG)
James Squire (Los Angeles Center, ZLA)
Justine Whetstone (Detroit TRACON, D21)

And a special thanks to the instructors, Martin and James!
