ATC & You: NATCA Volunteers Lend Expertise atWorld’s Largest Airshow
This week at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh at the NATCA booth, controllers volunteered their time and expertise, sharing tips and tools to help pilots improve their radio communication skills. As part of NATCA’s outreach to build stronger pilot-controller relationships, information sessions focused on clarity, confidence, and what effective communications sounds like in real-world flying. Pilots left with practical techniques they can apply right away to make every flight smoother and safer.
NATCA’s presence at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is made possible by our member volunteers who give generously of their time, energy, and expertise. Their commitment strengthens pilot-controller communication, supports education, and helps keep our skies safe. The results speak for themselves: more informed pilots, better safety practices, and a stronger aviation community. Want to be part of that impact? Volunteer with us next summer, or start by sharing your knowledge in your own community today through pilot outreach!
