NATCA Members Represent Union at Annual “Greatest Little Airshow”
NATCA President Nick Daniels, Central Regional Vice President Aaron Merrick, members of the National Legislative Committee, and several local NATCA members recently joined U.S. Representative for Missouri’s 6th congressional district Sam Graves at the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1405 annual fly-in in Tarkio, Mo. The airshow, which is commonly referred to as “the Greatest Little Airshow,” brings together controllers, pilots, members of Congress, and FAA officials. It is held annually to honor veterans and promote aviation.
Rep. Graves, who is the Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, hosted a dinner for attendees on Friday. On Saturday, NATCA President Nick Daniels was a panelist for a panel discussing air traffic control funding, staffing, and modernization efforts that Rep. Graves moderated. Throughout the weekend, NATCA members showcased the profession and our Union.
