Check Out NATCA’s Newly Updated Wellness Toolkit

As a valued member of our Union, your well-being is our priority—on and off the job. That’s why NATCA offers a range of confidential resources to help you navigate the challenges that come with work, life, and everything in between.

Whether you’re dealing with stress, struggling with mental health, or facing workplace issues, you are not alone. We’ve got your back.

The NATCA Employee Wellness Council has put together a quick reference document to help you navigate finding support for some of the most common issues that arise in our career field, and our everyday lives.

These resources are available to all NATCA members—because your health, safety, and peace of mind matter.

The toolkit includes information about the following resources:

  • Aviation Medicine Advisory Service (AMAS)
  • Medical Qualifications, Reporting Requirements, & Special Consideration
  • Drug and Alcohol Committee (DAC)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Professional Standards
  • Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)
  • Long-Term Disability Insurance (UNUM)
  • Office of Workers Compensation Program (OWCP)
  • Temporarily Disabled Employees/Assignments (Article 45 Duties)
  • Job Searches, Reasonable Accommodation, & OPM Disability Retirements

Reaching out for support is a sign of strength. We’re here to help—whenever you need it.

The toolkit can be found on the NATCA website under the Resources Tab, on the CISM and EAP committee pages, or by clicking the button below.

As resources and information get updated, so will the toolkit.

This is one of many initiatives your Union is pursuing to help your wellbeing.

Thank you to the many members that worked diligently to turn this idea into a reality.
