CFS 2025 Panel “Roger That” Focuses on Pilot-Controller Connection

Trust is the foundation of aviation. At Communicating For Safety 2025, the panel “Roger That: Trust in the Pilot-Controller Connection” featured NATCA Southern California TRACON (SCT) Pilot-Controller Liaison Brad Wilcko, NATCA Houston Center (ZHU) member Jesse Strickland, and NATCA Will Rogers ATCT (OKC) member Saja Cox. They were joined by Air Line Pilots Association International Aviation Safety Chair Capt. Steve Jangelis and Allied Pilots Association Air Traffic & Procedures Safety Representative Capt. Brian Townsend. Panelists explored turbulence, weather, and traffic challenges, showing how collaboration between pilots and controllers strengthens resilience and innovation in the National Airspace System.
