We Need Your Help: Tell Congress to End the Shutdown
NATCA is continuing to do everything we can to end the shutdown as quickly as possible. Among these efforts, we are pleased to report that NATCA’s nationwide advocacy campaign (VoterVoice) kicked off last week to an amazing start.
In the first 10 days of the campaign, more than 32,000 messages have been sent by nearly 11,000 individuals to 534 congressional offices (over 99%). This has been a great start, but NATCA’s last advocacy campaign sent almost 40,000 messages. We know that collectively we can drive these numbers even higher in the coming days.
We need every member – and as many of your friends and family members as possible – to join in this important effort. Congressional representatives need to hear from you – their constituents – about how the shutdown must end now!
The more emails sent, the louder and clearer our collective voice will be heard. We are not advocating for or against any policy issues at play in this standoff – our sole focus is ending the shutdown and ensuring that our members have the support and tools necessary to do their jobs free of unnecessary distraction.
Please take a few minutes to email your elected officials and demand an immediate end to the government shutdown: natca.org/actioncenter
