ICYMI: Video of Press Conference at NATCA’s National Office as Air Traffic Controllers Receive Second Zero-Dollar Paycheck
Earlier today, President Nick Daniels held a press conference at NATCA’s National Office to mark the second consecutive zero-dollar paycheck for the nation’s air traffic controllers. Daniels discussed the growing personal and professional toll that the shutdown is taking on air traffic controllers, and the potential impact on the traveling public as the busy holiday travel season approaches.
Media outlets in attendance included ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, DC News Now, Politico, The Hill, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Forbes, and Reuters.
During the press event, Daniels was joined by Potomac TRACON FacRep Amy Lark and Manassas, Va. ATCT FacRep Johnathan Missner.
These NATCA leaders joined Daniels in calling on Congress to immediately end the government shutdown and ensure that all air traffic controllers and other federal employees receive their compensation.
