NATCA Members Discuss Funding Models with Sen. John Hickenlooper

NATCA Colorado State Legislative Coordinator Brian Nelson (Denver TRACON, D01) and NATCA member Matt Scala (D01) recently met with Senator John Hickenlooper (Colo.), discussing the Mental Health in Aviation Act, which Sen. Hickenlooper has sponsored. Sen. Hickenlooper also discussed his insight into stable funding for air traffic controllers, hopefully mitigating ATCs going unpaid during any future government shutdown. NATCA applauds Sen. Hickenlooper for his unwavering support to NATCA as the Senator remains a strong advocate for air traffic controllers.
