NATCA Members Meet with U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids to Discuss NATCA Priorities 

Several NATCA members, including National Legislative Committee Alternate Member James Heath (Kansas City Center, ZKC), Kansas City Center FacRep Patrick James (ZKC), Kansas City Center Vice President Mike Klein (ZKC), Javier Salmon (ZKC), and Aaron Jewel (ZKC) recently met with U.S. Representative Sharice Davids (Kan.-3) to discuss a number of priorities important to NATCA. The group discussed the Mental Health in Aviation Bill, as well as recruitment and retention of air traffic controllers. The group was also able to inform Rep. Davids on local airspace modernization projects, and how they have progressed since the last time NATCA met with Rep. Davids in April.
